What we collect
We collect account details, profile information, listings, matching and hiring activity, messages and uploaded media, device information, notification details, and app usage events needed to operate GigSwipe. Location is used to prefill areas and rank nearby opportunities.
How we use information
Information is used to authenticate accounts, display relevant workers and opportunities, enable matching and chat, deliver notifications, support hiring, prevent abuse, investigate reports, and measure product reliability.
Sharing and service providers
Information is shared with other GigSwipe users only where needed for profiles, listings, matches, chats, and hiring. Firebase and Google Cloud provide authentication, database, storage, and notification services. GigSwipe does not sell personal information or currently use it for third-party advertising.
Safety and sensitive information
Do not place passwords, ATM PINs, BVNs, bank-app access, or other sensitive credentials in profiles, listings, or chats. Exact work locations should only be shared through the authorized matching and hiring flow.
Retention and deletion
We retain information while an account is active and as needed to provide the service. Users can delete their account from Profile in the GigSwipe app. Profile data, listings, matches, chats, and uploaded media are removed. Limited safety records may be anonymized and retained for fraud prevention, disputes, or legal obligations.
Your choices
You can edit your profile, change notification preferences, revoke device permissions, report or block users, and request account deletion. GigSwipe is intended only for people aged 18 and older.
